Myths and Legends

The brand new Alif Art Gallery, which aims to promote Central Asian culture, opens with an exhibition by the Russian artist Timur D’Vatz, who uses the subject of the hunt as a symbolic and dynamic motif to explore our collective, archetypal consciousness. 

As in the ancient legends, the hunt is a metaphor that represents the quest, the journey and the search for inner knowledge and self-discovery represented by the images found within its narrative.
