Crossroads #10 - The Art of Life

See works by the Emirati artist Najat Makki and the Swiss artist Peter Stoffel. Makki’s paintings and sculptures are greatly influenced by her surroundings and traditions, with a clear visual reference to her family’s interest in embroidery and fabrics. Stoffel works with painting, installation and various other media. His paintings are fictitious mountain panoramas shrewdly referring to his Herisau origins, tucked away in the mythical epicentre of alpine Switzerland.
