Emirates Airlines has struck an agreement with Virgin America to provide passengers with enhanced connections throughout the US.
Emirates passengers flying from Dubai to Los Angeles can now book connecting flights on Virgin America to six cities in the US and Canada, and nine cities for Emirates passengers flying into San Francisco.
"Our new agreement with Virgin America will bring our American West Coast gateways within easier reach of dozens of US cities, making travel more convenient for customers travelling to or from the Middle East and beyond," said Nigel Page, the senior vice president of commercial operations for Americas and Africa for the Dubai airline, the world's largest by international capacity.
Emirates is the currently the only Middle Eastern airline flying non-stop to the US West coast. It currently flies twice daily from Los Angeles, Houston and New York City, and daily from San Francisco to Dubai.
