Royal Jet, the Abu Dhabi-based executive jet operator, plans to extend its reach into India next year to deliver its next phase of growth, the company said.
The charter firm, the world's largest operator of Boeing Business Jets, has agreed to use Aviation Services Management (ASM) as a local partner.
The services company provides a range of business and commercial aviation services and has offices in the UAE, UK and India, Royal Jet said.
ďWith ASMís strong foundation in the UAE and network of offices across India coupled with Royal Jetís heritage and award-winning service capabilities, this agreement will undoubtedly result in positive benefits,Ē said Fahad Wali, the acting commercial vice president of Royal Jet.
Royal Jet operates a private terminal out of Abu Dhabi International Airport but charters its large business aircraft for customer requests around the world. It said the growing affluence in India was the driving force for the expansion.
ďThe number of high net worth Individuals in India is experiencing considerable growth, which, when combined with a significant gap in the availability of business jets with 10 to 42-passenger capacity, presents excellent opportunities for business aviation across the Indian sub continent," Mr Wali said.
ASM provides services such as flight support and landing permits, ground handling, and crew management.
