Alexis Sanchez had the goal of the weekend in El Clasico

Things went pretty well for Barcelona in last night's 226th edition of the clasico. They beat rivals Real Madrid comfortably, even if a late goal made the final score seem closer than the match actually was. Neymar scored, a very nice feather in the cap on a grand stage for the young, €57 million signing. And Barca also opened up a six-point chasm between themselves and Madrid in the La Liga title race.
What really left an impression, though, was the tricky, marvelously placed shot Alexis Sanchez lobbed for Barcelona's second goal.
Lionel Messi threaded a ball to Sanchez, who collected it and, with no clear way to get around Madrid defender Raphael Varane, instead went over him, chipping the ball past both Varane and the outstretched Real keeper, Diego Lopez.
It was a nice highlight for Sanchez, who came on as a substitute in the 70th minute, in an inconsistent career at Barca since the club signed the Chilean for €26 million in 2011.
