I don't see how anybody could "force" their opinion on the UAE government, especially not when they were very politely and deferentially using the social networks to voice their views. What medium is okay to voice one's opinion in the UAE?

As a long time resident of the UAE, I totally agree with the sentiments expressed by His Highness. There should be consequencies for all our actions, freedom of speech does not mean freedom to abuse others. Some postings on the social media are so hateful and oftentimes not true. Each of us is a unique individual and life would be so much better if only we could celebrate our differences.
