With an land area of 4184 square miles (10836 square kilometers) i think Qatar is to small to hosts such mega event like FIFA. I think Qatar should seriously consider United Arab Emirates a county having the world's best infrastructure, sports facilities to to co hosts the world most spectacular event. With the infrastructure and amenities already in the set up UAE could host a better world cup than Qatar do in 2022.The urban impact of mega-events like World Cup tournaments and the Olympic Games is undeniable. The recent experience of ICC world cup cricket co hosted by trio nations make the event more immune from risks and invulnerability. FIFA2022 will be a truly Arab World event only when the venue of the games are shared amongst the Arab nations instead of keeping it within self by hook or by crook. Qatar is too small to host a World Cup - it could host one pool of a joint Gulf bid - with Kuwait hosting one pool - and UAE the remaining.
