I do admire young Mohamad Nour for his entrepreneurship and spirit of innovation. As a person who is conducting research on Innovation, Skill Acquisition and Scientific Productivity and also interacting with young Emirates, I have great admiration for their spirit of adventure, innovation and entrepreneurship, qualities that are commonly found among them.
It is the duty of the society and the government to encourage the young in setting up their own enterprises in stead of spoiling them with giving them some silly job in the Government or the private sector, that with a fat salary.
At the same time,identify the academically brilliant young men and women and send them for higher education, after properly equipping them.
The Peaceful and Dynamic Life of the UAE encourages people to innovate or make some thing original. I do admit that after coming over the UAE, I did a lot of original works on treating Knowledge as a Product for Consumption, Production and marketing besides developing Knowmatics, a new field. Recently one of my papers has been nominated as a Finalist for the International Award for Excellence.
I also appreciate the efforts of The National to promote the local talents and bring them to the attention of the public and the Governments. The Talented Young need a lot of support, appreciation and encouragement.
