And all because 1 man, Bashar Assad, is too greedy, arrogant and murderous, to call proper elections, and instead gets his security forces to kill women and children in order maintain his sole grip on power. He is a psycopath like his father before him who also killed tens of thousands for same reasons. Shameful really is'nt it, particularly as he is a qualified Doctor. I guess women and children and unarmed men are nice easy target for him.
