I don't undestand the aim of this article! To highlight the existing tension between both sects or to reveal some new sort of tension due to the current economic and political turmoil? The fact is, there has always been an evident form of tension and racism between the "Palestinian Jordanians" and the "East Bankers" since the war of Black September. However, this tension has decreased over the course of the past decade and the new generation of Jordanians, like myself, are trying to bury this kind of bigotry and look at the bright side regarding the future of our country. The statements of two scholars interviewed in this article doesn't support the proclaimed title and as a matter of fact and it doesn't even represent what's going in Jordan right now or the general public's say. To summarise this in a nutshell, all Jordanian are now united to face the aftermath of the "freedom fights" in Tunis and Egypt. The nation will counterattack the dynasty of oppression and tyrany that has been existing for decades now - and will lead to a better future for the Jordanians. So, since we are in a political reform process, this is coming from a Jordian - not a "Palestinian Jordanian" nor an "East Banker". Thanks.
