Forced marriage / honour violence are a huge problem in Germany as well – especially amongst German-born Turkish teenagers: I recently watched a TV report about a Turkish guy who got jailed for honour murder of his sister – even after years being locked away he still is convinced that he was right in killing the girl: It is a brainwashing system done by the family and the community – it is just horrible – and probably needs another generation to be left behind.
