You play Nelin, a

Remember Me game seems promising

Remember Me
Capcom
PS3, Xbox 360, PC

Due for release in May

With the amount of wincingly unapologetic shooters and maimers being churned out, it's sometimes easy to forget that games can also be clever. Remember Me, Capcom's forthcoming open-world adventurer set in a dystopian Paris, looks likely to be one such title that might stir a few cells.

You play Nelin, a "memory hunter" who finds herself drawn into a battle with a mega-corporation that has developed a device that fixes to the back of your head and digitises memories.

There's adventure and combat but also "memory remixing", in which you can rearrange people's memories by modifying details. Ready to put down the massive gun and come play somewhere more intelligent yet?
