PlanetSide2 to make multiplayer gaming a spectator sport

If you like the idea of seeing some massive online battles on an alien planet but don't really fancy getting involved in the mayhem yourself, Sony is here to help. Following an alliance between Sony Online Entertainment and the video game broadcasting network Twitch, gamers on PlanetSide 2 – a huge free-to-play MMO title scheduled to launch on November 20 – will be able to allow others to watch their virtual combat online. Apparently the game chronicles the efforts of three sides fighting for control on the planet Auraxis. Sounds rather similar to Dune.
