If you didn't know that Jay-Z was the executive producer of this basketball sim, you would shortly after picking it up, because it's plastered everywhere and even features an image of the man on the back.

Thankfully, celebrity endorsement hasn't come at the expense of gameplay (for a change), and NBA 2K13 is arguably the finest basketballer on the market. With a new right-stick control comes greater ease of movement, together with graphics and animation that will have many believing it's real.

With Jay-Z's ominous presence all over the slickety-slick presentation, this is a simulation that should appeal to both hardcore hoop fans and Average Joe gamers.
