Teen pop star Justin Bieber set to play Dubai


The news alone willing surely set scores of teenage girls to crying in the UAE as concert organisers confirm teen pop phenomen Justin Bieber is coming to Dubai.

This morning Virgin Radio Dubai and Done Events announced that Bieber is bring his 'Believe' world tour to the 7he Sevens Stadium on May 4 next year. Details about ticket prices have not yet been released but fans can register their interest at justinbieberdubai.com.

Discovered on YouTube 2008 Bieber has become one of the best known pop acts on the planet with more than 27 million followers on the social media site twitter.

The Canadian, who will have turned 19 by the time he comes to the Emirates, will be promoting his third album Believe. The Dubai gig will come at the end of a long road which will see him perform across the US, Canada and throughout Europe before heading to the UAE.

“It feels like only a short while ago when Justin Bieber suddenly emerged from the world of social media and hit the charts big time exposing us to ‘Biebermania’ for the first time,” said Thomas Ovesen – COO Done Events.

“We look forward to welcoming Justin Bieber to Dubai for the very first time and for what will hopefully be his first of many concerts performing his hits to the legions of regional Beliebers.”
