Nicki Minaj confirmed for Dubai gig

Nicki Minaj will be bringing her eccentric style of rap to the UAE on December 28 for a concert at Meydan Racecourse in Dubai.

After a flurry of rumours about an impending gig by the the Trinidadian-born star, whose hits include Starships, Super Bass and Pound The Alarm, news of the show has finally been confirmed.

The Meydan show has been organised by booking agents Alchemy Project, the company behind the Atelier Festival on New Year’s Eve at the same venue, where acts such as Snoop Dogg and Faithless will play.

Earlier this year Minaj raised excitement among her UAE fans by announcing on Twitter that a visit to the country was imminent. “We're making a stop in Dubai. Yaay!” she tweeted.
