UAE fans plan treats

Beliebers from the region are urging fellow fans to carry flags of their respective countries when Bieber sings All Around the World at his Dubai concert. "Travelling from Jordan to the concert? Get your Jordanian flag, and so on," said a video posted on YouTube. In addition, fans should print out posters that say "I love you" in Arabic and take them out when Bieber performs Believe. The campaign is organised by @ArabBeliebers, @BiebsUAE and @Socuterauhl. - The National staff

Bieber shuns Sweden drug incident

After Swedish police said Thursday that they found drugs and a stun gun on Justin Bieber's tour bus, the pop singer tweeted: "Some of the rumours about me where do people even get this stuff. Whatever back to the music." - AP

New hashtag explained

Bieber has started a new hashtag: #musicjournals. His talent manager Scotter Braun explained what it meant to MTV: "He's been writing one to two songs a day for the entire tour and he actually labels them by the city he writes them in. We started calling it his 'music journal'." - The National staff
