With no new Battlefield this year, it's up to Warfighter to take EA's military shooter challenge to Call of Duty. Unfortunately, with minutes it becomes clear that this is far from a fair fight.

For all its spectacular visuals and high production values, the latest Medal of Honor, with its cheesy, sub-soap-opera Taliban-chasing storyline, is a disappointingly basic affair riddled with glitches that sees characters fall down dead for no reason and headshots fail to leave a scratch.

Multiplayer might offer a glimmer of joy following the horrors of the single-player mode, but it's not enough to drag this mess out of the doldrums.
