Lara Croft gets comic-book prequel
With the new Tomb Raider reboot less than a month away, Lara Croft is set to become the centre of video gaming attention once more.
But before she starts adorning teenage bedroom walls again, the famed vest-wearing archaeologist will be featured in a comic book series following a partnership between Square Enix and Dark Horse.
The 48-page, six-part omnibus will follow Croft before things go pear-shaped on an unknown Pacific island (basically what happens in the game), covering the story of how her crew came together before the expedition. Simply put, it's a prequel of a prequel.
