Sonal Chauhan talks horror movie 3G


The actress Sonal Chauhan says her new film 3G is an unconventional horror film. "In Indian cinema, horror films have been mostly about haunted mansions, spirits or black magic. 3G offers you horror in a different way, something I think the Indian audience will see for the first time on screen," said the 27-year-old star. Directed by Sheershak Anand, 3G revolves around the spooky events that take place after the male protagonist, played by Neil Nitin Mukesh, buys a new mobile phone. — IANS

Amitabh Bachchan shoots new film

Amitabh Bachchan is spending the next three months in Bhopal to shoot for Prakash Jha's new film Satyagraha. "Here now with a host of very important talent - Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Manoj Bajpayee. A strong, powerful subject, intense and gripping," Bachchan wrote on his blog. - IANS

Boman Irani signs Telugu film

After doing a variety of roles in Bollywood, the actor Boman Irani has signed a Telugu film. "I wanted to do a film outside Mumbai and see what it feels like," said the 53-year-old actor. "I am very proud they have accepted me with open arms." Irani's next film is the Bollywood comedy drama Jolly LLB, co-starring Arshad Warsi and Amrita Rao. It is scheduled for release on March 15. - IANS
