Yasemin Richie takes every frame of a ?lm on a computer and compresses them to the width of a pixel, then assembles them all side-by-side to produce a piece of art illustrating the colour tones found in each ?lm.

How do you see an entire ?lm all at once? Yasemin Richie has ?gured it out; for her art series titled Storylines, this Dubai-based artist and designer takes every frame of a ?lm on a computer and compresses them to the width of a pixel, then assembles them all side-by-side to produce a piece of art illustrating the colour tones found in each ?lm. At the Dubai International Film Festival, she presented various celebrities with a copy of one of their own ?lms, shown here. Check out the results here.
